Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

The Crabb Family celebrated a long and successful career in Southern Gospel Music before many of the group members went their separate ways.  Daywind Music continues to release some Crabb Family music from time to time and it is fun to relive some of the great music that was sung by this group over the years.  What makes this project even better is that they are all live cuts of these popular songs.

"Don't You Wanna Go" was a huge song for the group and a fast moving song that will always get a crowd going!  The next song is "Sacrifice Of Praise," which was the only song on the project that I wasn't real familiar with.  It is a good song though!  "The Cross" is another crowd favorite song that you will enjoy hearing again.  One of the very first big songs that I remember from the Crabb Family was "The Lamb The Lion And The King."  That song is next and I loved hearing it again.

"He Came Looking For Me" is another Crabb Family favorite that just seems to be made to be recorded live!  "The Walk" is another of the Crabb Family signature fast paced songs that always seems to get the crowd on their feet!  Another of the songs that was an early hit for the Crabb Family was "Please Come Down To Me."  That song is a great one with a wonderful message.

"Greater Is He" is the next cut on the project and it leads us straight to "The Reason That I'm Standing."  That was another of the many number one songs that the Crabb Family had.  If there is one song that is associated with the Crabb Family above the others, it might be "Through The Fire."  That song has been such a source of encouragement for so many people over the years.  I love hearing it performed live as well.  The final song on the project is the only one on the project that doesn't have Gerald Crabb as a writer or co-writer.  The song was written by the late Dottie Rambo and titled "I've Never Been This Homesick Before."  It's a great version of this wonderful song.

The Crabb Family will long be remembered in the history of Southern Gospel Music.  They always had a style that was all their own and they enjoyed a fan base that covered all ages.  I enjoyed this project from Daywind Records that relived a lot of the great live performances from the Crabb Family recordings.  My favorite songs from the project are "Through The Fire," "Don't You Wanna Go" and "Please Come Down To Me."  If you are a fan of the Crabb Family, you will love this recording!  You may purchase the project at www.junipersquare.com.
