Arkin Terrell is a name that I am not all familiar with in Southern Gospel Music.  We received this project from him a little bit ago here in our offices and immediately it impressed us.  The project is a good one that you will enjoy.

"Strength To Surrender" gets the project off to a very good start with an upbeat, easy listening song.  The next song on the project is ""If This Is All There Is."  This is a slower melody with an interesting message of love.  "Prints Of Peace" is another slower melody on the subject God and the peace He can bring.  The tempo picks up with "Let's Stand For Love" and this song speaks of standing for love if we will stand for anything at all.

"Clean Slate" is a bit of a different style from you might normally hear in Southern Gospel Music.  It is, however, a good song and the message talks about God wiping our slate clean and starting as a new man when we come to know Him.  "Did You Hear Me Say Goodbye" is a slower song that has an absolutely beautiful message.  It is hard to explain the song without hearing the whole thing but this song along is worth getting this project.  "One Step Closer" is another song with a very strong message.  "If It Wasn't For You" is a the next song on the project.

"Wise To You" is a fast paced song with a good message.  The next song on the project is titled "This Is Forever" and is one of many songs on this project dealing with the subject of love.  "You Did Not Leave Me Behind" is another slow melody with a tremendous message.  The song talks about no matter the path we might have taken, Jesus never left us alone or on our own.  The final song on the project is an upbeat song titled "The Race."  It's a great ending to this project.

There is no doubt that Arkin Terrell has terrific singing talent.  This project will prove that very quickly.  The production and orchestration is also very good on this project.  My favorite songs on this project are "Did You Hear Me Say Goodbye," "You Did Not Leave Me Behind" and "The Race."  The project has several songs that will bless you and is definately worth a listen.  For more information visit www.iwitnessrecords.com.
