Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

When it comes to popular groups in Southern Gospel Music I would have to imagine that Greater Vision is at or near the top of most people's list.  While Greater Vision has long been associated with quality Gospel Music and great songs, this project is slightly different.  This project features Greater Vision and the Prague Symphony Orchestra singing some of the great hymns of the church.

The project begins with a rousing medley featuring "All Creatures Of Our God And King" and "Oh For A Thousand Tongues To Sing."  "Come Thou Fount Of Many Blessings" is the next song and once again Greater Vision does a fantastic job on this hymn.  One of my favorite hymns is next as the guys sing "Tell Me The Story Of Jesus."  I love the harmonies on this great song and who better to sing those harmonies than some of the best in the business.  Next on the project is "The Stranger Of Galilee."  It has been a while since I heard this song but I enjoyed the song once again.

Another of my favorite songs is "The Lily Of The Valley."  The guys picked up the tempo a bit and sang that song next.  One thing about the hymns of the church is they all have a strong message and I have always love the message of "The Lily Of The Valley."  The next track on the project a wonderful medley.  The songs in the medley are "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross," "The Healer" and "The Old Rugged Cross."  All of them are great songs reminding us of Calvary.  It only seems fitting that after those songs you would sing "Christ The Lord Has Risen Today."  The guys have a great a cappella version of this outstanding song.

The tempo picks up once again with another great medley.  The songs in this medley are "Since I Have Been Redeemed," "Redeemed How I LoveBuy It Now! To Proclaim It" and "I'm Redeemed."  The resulting medley is excellent as we think about being redeemed by Christ!  "I Know He Heard My Prayer" is the next song on the project and I love the way this song reminds us of the power of prayer.  "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" is the next song and the guys really do a phenomenal job on this great song.  The project ends with another medley that includes "In Times Like These," "The Solid Rock" and "Jesus Is Coming Again."  It's a great ending for this project.

Anytime you combine two quality "institutions" like Greater Vision and the Prague Symphony Orchestra you have a real chance of coming up with something special.  I would say that has happened on this project.  What an outstanding effort!  Favorites were nearly impossible to pick because all of the songs are familiar and great.  I did finally decide on "Tell Me The Story Of Jesus," "The Lily Of The Valley" and "Christ The Lord Has Risen Today."  I guess the best way I can put it is the old hymns never sounded better!  For more information on Greater Vision, visit their website at www.greatervisionmusic.com.
