Family is a great thing. I enjoy projects that celebrate family and when you are able to get three generations of family together on one project, well, something good has to happen. Recently, the Easter Brothers, the Lewis Family and Jeff and Sheri Easter got together and recorded this terrific project!
"They're Holding Up The Ladder" is the first song on the project and you will enjoy this bluegrass song as they sing it to perfection. The next song was the debut single from this project. The song is titled "Slippers With Wings." You will enjoy this touching song. "In God's Hands" picks up the tempo once again and it does a fine job of reminding us that everything in our life we can put in God's Hands! A great message and a great song.
"Heart That Will Never Break Again" is another of the story songs that all of these groups are well known for. "Purple Robe" is the next song and the message of the song is outstanding as it reminds us of that day that Christ was crucified for our sins. Jeff and Sheri have had a number of big songs over the years and "Roses Will Bloom Again" is the next song on the project. You will enjoy this version of this great song. The title song is next as everyone gets involved on "We Are Family." The song celebrates family and all of the ties that go with it.
One of my favorite songs is a song that the Easter Brothers did originally. The version of "Thank You Lord For Your Blessings On Me" on this
You cannot argue with the success of any of these artists. Certainly the Lewis Family and Easter Brothers are mainstays in Bluegrass Music. Jeff and Sheri Easter have made their name in bluegrass as well as Southern Gospel Music. When this entire family gets together there is no way you don't get a memorable project. My favorite songs from the project are "Thank You Lord For Your Blessings On Me," "Hallelujah Turnpike" and "Roses Will Bloom Again." The entire project is a memorable one and there is also a live video and DVD available as well. You will enjoy celebrating the musical legacy of these families. |
